Goal/Objective:  Engage and educate the Collinsville Community about the dangers, benefits, and best practices of the digital realm.  Students, staff, and families will access monthly collections to read, listen, discuss and watch specially selected resources to explore.

Achievement:  Students access the test through the collection at any time they feel they have mastered the concepts.  After each submission, users are able to view their successes and areas of improvement.  Successful completion of each thematic month requires 90% accuracy. Users who score less than 90% are allowed to review the areas they missed and re-submit in order to achieve the 90% threshold.

Video Challenge:

Create a 10-60 second video that shows what you learned.  Keep the idea simple, but be creative in choices of music, background, word choice, and text.

Videos can be created with WeVideo (request full platform from a librarian) or through whatever video software app you have on your phone (iMovie, TikTok, Puppet Pals, Funny Movie Maker, etc.).

For sharing, you can post links into the classroom page, email mhayman@cusd.kahoks.org &

 tschmidt@cusd.kahoks.org, @mrhayman on TikTok, #Haymanfolk on Twitter.

Videos at the end of the year will be selected and compiled for publication.

Rewards:

Primary:  Cash Credits (Chrome Cash) that go towards chromebook damage.

Secondary:  Building principals and classroom teachers are encouraged to create end of year rewards for successful completions.

Remediation:  Students who violate district digital policies may be required to complete full/part of the program as part of their remediation for proper digital practices.
